I plan to do another post in the next couple of days regarding my love/obsession and other binders that I have made, but for now I have put together a vlog (video blog) about my Home Organization notebook.
If you are unfamiliar with the concept I explain it in the video.
So if you care about my notebook, or want to know what I sound like in real life feel free to watch the video.
Some notes before viewing:
1. I'm sorry it is so long, I tried to make it short. I talk a lot.
2. I say um a lot. Too much.
3. I need a hair cut. And color.
4. The sound is off from my mouth which I think is an added bonus. It takes the attention away from how bad my hair needs attention.

Oh Megan you're so cute!! So crazy I've never heard your voice! You look great on camera! All you girls are making me look bad! I need to make a notebook!
ReplyDeleteI saw the one Erin at Blue-Eyed Bride made and was seriously considering making one. Now you have me convinced to make one :)
ReplyDeletethis was hilarious to me! I just kept thinking about how people in earlier years(think our grandparents and great-grandparents) made their households run without a 'family planner/binder'? It's like day planning and fixing up family notebooks/binders has been turned into a big sport. I guess my life can get kind of hectic and crazy at times...maybe a big 'family organization binder' would be my solution...I can just see myself out at Target carrying a huge binder around, ha! ;)
ReplyDeleteYou are so freaking adorable. So, so cute. And I love that you put a prayer tab in there, but I'm still DYING to hear about your prayer binder! Get on it! ;)
ReplyDeleteLove it! And this made me miss you! You look great and I love the additions to your binder.
ReplyDeleteYou sound nothing like I expected!! It's so funny to hear people on here!
ReplyDeleteI don't have one of these notebooks... Man, I wish I was more organized!
Love it! You are so cute!
ReplyDeleteLoved this! You don't sound anything like what I expected either (have no idea what I expected?) But good job! Your vlog rocks!
ReplyDeleteYou are so stinkin adorable Megan!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love your binder and YAY for vlogs! I think I would weird myself out doing one, but you were very entertaining! :)
ReplyDeletecute cute cute! maybe one day i will do one?! eeek. i am tooo nervous :D
ReplyDeleteI've been reading your blog for a while and I wanted to let you know that I love your blog and adding your voice makes me like you and your blog even more! C: This is such a cute creation btw!
ReplyDeleteSO cute - I do something similar! I *love* that the Christmas binder is red!
ReplyDeleteCxx
Been reading your blog for a while, but I think this is the first time I have commented. Your binder is awesome, thanks for sharing! You have inspired me to make one!
ReplyDeleteYou are SO pretty! I love your hair! Sorry, I know it's about the binder, but you are just so cute! :)
ReplyDeleteCute! Thank you for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteI love feeling organized and I might have to get on the binder bandwagon! Especially as my due date gets closer and closer and I go from one child to two!
I think your hair is fine and I want to grow mine longer.

Pfft whatever. You are so stinking gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteFunny to me that you think your hair looks bad, my first thought was, "I love her hair here!"
ReplyDeleteLove your binder :) And girl, you are organized. It seems like you thought of everything in here!
I love how you said, "My goal is to do this in 5 minutes," at the beginning. :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat vlog, Megan. It was nice to hear your voice, and your binder is great!
You are so adorable and funny. You don't sound the way I imagined. I haven't given it any thought ... not sure what I expected. You have a great voice. You've inspired me to make a binder (even though I didn't really follow exactly what you were saying ... too busy admiring your cute hair and stuff). Thanks for being such a joy to me. I love your blog.
ReplyDeleteI love your binder! Great vlog!
ReplyDeleteI loved this! And one of the first things I thought was how much I loved your hair!
ReplyDeleteSo this was inspiration for me to finish my binder...I'm on a "revolutionize my life" quest also. I started, but got too overwhelmed. I need someone to help me organize my life and then I can do the binder :)
This was super fun to watch! I loved seeing how you have it set up - such a great idea!
ReplyDeleteAnd I LOVED that your voice was off from your lips. It was like watching a Godzilla movie! :]
Love the binder idea. I will have to make one! I have a friend that has a coupon binder. She uses baseball card sheets and puts a different coupon in each pocket. This makes it easy to see each coupon. She will even put the expiring ones up top so she won't forget to use it. She sometimes teaches coupon classes and can show you how to save some serious money. Let me know if you are interested and I will get you in contact with her.
ReplyDeleteNow....I am off to make a binder that will revolutionize the Disney Family!

You did a great job on your video! I'm pretty sure I should never do a vlog since my voice sounds super high (which I never realized until I heard myself on my own voicemail...weird). Anyways, just wanted to say that I am definitely going to use your binder idea for my own home/life organization!
ReplyDeleteLove your vlog, home notebook and the fact that yours is actually together and in use! I was inspired by the blog world to make one and it has sat partially assembled on my dining room table for the last two weeks!
ReplyDeleteHi Megan! It's Meredith from California! lol- love this binder idea and your hair? It's so chic- it's actually the hottest thing to do with your hair right now, think Guilianna Rancic from E!- it's called "Ombre hair"(darker at the roots and lighter on bottom) and girls here pay a FORTUNE to get it! Just thought you'd like to know how "LA" and chic you really are!
ReplyDeleteYou are so cute, Megan! I loved hearing your voice! Plus that binder is amazing! Great ideas. :)
ReplyDeleteYou're a doll! I have binders for everything too! That was a big to-do on my summer to-do list was to get them all organized! I was a binder person before college, but if I got nothing out of my elementary education program, I at least learned to make one heck of a binder! If you could make a good binder you were set!
ReplyDeleteFor some reason the video was ahead of your voice! It still made sense anyway!
Love the vlog. You are so funny. Especially about the vacuuming thing. It just made me laugh. While I'm watching your vlog, I should be doing my weekly chores. I do have a binder for home organization, but it's nowhere near as cute.
ReplyDeleteI love your binder! I started one a couple of weeks ago, but kindof got a little overwhelmed, so I settled on Erin Condren instead! I'm hoping she'll help me organize, and then maybe I'll branch out to the bigger and bolder homemade notebook!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your binder! I need one!! Where did you get all the printables? For your notebook?? I need you to come to Tulsa and help me make one:) Ok:)????
ReplyDeleteHi! I'm a new to your blog and am now convinced to go the store to buy a binder for recipes. My Erin Condren planner should be in on Friday. Our house is going to be SO organized...ha ha. The trick will be to use it!
ReplyDeleteI love you. We have a notebook (or binder as you young 'uns call it) that is only for manuals. You'd be surprised how many you collect over the years. I also have one that is just recipes and pics I've pulled from magazines, house stuff, gardens, etc. I hope your life is totally revolutionized.
ReplyDeleteI used a book called "Super Baby Food" with all of our kids; it tells you what their bodies can handle at each month. I love it, and it opened up a whole new worlds of foods for me. It also tells you how to make and store your own baby food, if you're interested. (If you're not interested, the info is still in there.)

You are seriously the cutest! I loved hearing your voice again - brought me back to ATL and when we first ran into you in the airport and hearing all about your flight. Haha! Love this!!
ReplyDeleteI am a little late, but you are the cutest. I want come over and hang out with you, I think we would be bff's.
