Chaos

Do you ever have moments of your life that feel completely out of control? My life is good right now, but it is busy.

Does anybody remember September? Because I just don't. It was here for like a day and then suddenly it was September 29th. Craziness.

So the other day I stepped back to evaluate my life and realizes that every aspect of it was a complete mess.

And I don't mean a figurative mess I mean a complete and literal mess.

My house is a pit, and needs some serious TLC. I'm not going to show you pictures of my house because that would just be embarrassing.

But also my office and car are out of control right now.

I will show you those, not sure how they are different than pictures of my house, but just roll with it.

A glimpse:

My office:

What? It's not professional to have papers scattered all over your floor and several dishes on your desk, not to mention the trusty box of Chez its?
A closer look at my desk. Please note the strawberry jelly on the left side. That has been there for about 3 weeks. I'm thinking I just need to trash it.
Next is my car, this is the passengers seat. How many bags does one person need?? Apparently in this case four. And the back seat is just gross. Those jeans in the middle have been in there so long that they don't even fit anymore!

So this weekend is going to officially operation "Megan cleans her life".

First office on Friday, then car and house on Saturday.

I feel more chaotic when everything is a mess, especially my car.

Does anybody feel this way?

  1. Oh yes I feel ya, Sista! There's nothing like a clean house to help me relax! Good luck with the projects this weekend... or maybe you can pull the "pregnancy card" and have that hubby of yours do all the work! :)

  3. Yes! I always describe it as my brain being cloudy or full of cobwebs... Its like I can't see through it or can't feel my way out when things are so messy!!! Ugh!

PS, I think we have the same car. Ha, mine is full of crapola too. :) And, I have a pending follow you on Twitter... just in case you're wondering who that is?

  6. I'm so jealous of your office! Not the current chaotic state, but it looks so nice and big and you get it all to yourself! I like things really neat and picked up, but most of the time, my life looks just like this. I bet you'll feel so much more relaxed after your cleaning weekend!

  7. yes! I feel the same way! I have a problem with throwing my clothes on the floor in my closet instead of hanging them up...when I finally hang them all up it is such a GREAT feeling! I love it. Same with my car, when I got my new car I vowed to not leave a single thing in it every time I get out...it has worked thus far and its SO nice to get in a clean car! now the trunk on the other hand has about 5 inches of sand in it! oh well!

  8. Yes I most definitely do. No matter how much I try my car is a mess. My apartment can't be a mess because my boyfriend is a neat freak, but I get in trouble ALL the time for my messiness. I don't have a permanent desk anywhere, I take my work with me everyday, so my workspace isn't mess...but the bag that holds my work stuff? A disaster. If I can make a mess of it... I will.

  10. Umm, pretty sure you broke into my house and car and took pics...'cause that's about how mine looks, too! I have that same soda-can-inside-a-cup-next-to-a-bigger-cup car thing going on. ha!

    You're not alone.

Maybe I'll tackle my office today!

  22. Um, yeah. I definitely feel this way! In fact, all my posts last week were dedicated to how messy my space is!!

I hope there will be room in that back seat for your little one when he/she arrives:)

  23. I have a hard time functioning when things are in chaos! I tried not to look around too carefully when I was at my brother's house this weekend! Can we say chaos, cause it was!

  24. So you and I should never go anywhere in a car together. We would get buried under the crap we would hoard! My car is your cars twin, only dare I admit it? Possibly worse. You don't have drink bottles all over the place. You should add a few of those!
