Tuesday Night

Tonight I solved my "What should I fix for dinner" dilemma by just going out to eat.

I am awesome at problem solving.

Luke and I met two friends at Panera and had some yummy soup and lots of laughs.

I am a big fan of the French Onion Soup at Panera but I am seriously afraid to attempt it on my own at home. Same with meatloaf, I'm not yet brave enough to try to cook it at home.

After dinner we planned to go to an ice cream shop but we went to its original location and it had moved.

There were signs saying that it moved behind McDonald's.

The only thing behind McDonald's was a a liquor story.

I don't know what that meant, but we never got our ice cream (or liquor).

After that Luke and I drove around looking at houses that were waaaaay out of our price range.

I have decided I love looking at houses, not houses for me to purchase but houses that are really expensive and beautiful.

Speaking of expensive and beautiful houses are you all still watching RHNJ? Is anybody completely weirded out by how much they refer to bubbies?? I have never heard of this term in my life.

  2. I've been watching RHNJ too, and they do talk about bubbies a lot. Though I have heard that term before, and I think it's kinda cute. I'm thinking of using it more. :) I've never watched any of the other Housewives series, but I've been told that you usually end up with a favorite and one you dispise. I can't say I am overly fond of any of them at this point.

  4. I don't care if it's 100 degrees out when I go to Panera, I ALWAYS get the french onion soup. Love love love it! I made my own back in the fall, and it was actually pretty yummy! Wasn't so good as leftovers, but the night I made it, it was pretty delicious. I'll see if I can find that recipe for you!

Also...elementary education is one of the most rewarding jobs! It drives you crazy some days, but it's SO worthwhile. Especially when you're off for 2.5 months of the year :) If you ever have any questions, let me know!

  5. Love Panera... and I have a great meatloaf recipe. You should buy the Williams Sonoma meatloaf pan-- it makes it SO much easier.

  11. I love love love Panera. It's so yummy. If you're ever there for breakfast, you should try to spinach and artichoke egg souffle. It's my fave. A friend just sent me an Ecookbook that has a lot of famous restaurant recipes such as The Cheesecake Factory, Cracker Barrel, Houstons, Olive Garden, etc. I'm going to send it to the email on your blog. I have trouble trying to figure out what to cook as well when I actually do cook that is. LOL=)

Also-if anyone reading this wants it, just leave me a comment with your email on my blog!!!

  13. Mmmmm..... I'm headed to Panera for lunch.

I just found out that my Strawberry Chicken and Poppyseed Salad is back! I've seriously been going there once a week for about 3 weeks hoping they would be making it, again.

  14. I am seriously missing my husband because we ate out sooo much while he was home. I'm not sure if I miss him more, or the eating out more...just kidding :)

    You two are adorable!!!

  18. Yall are too cute! Yes-those women talk about their BOOBIES more than anything else and they are so envious of everyone else boobies...they are crazy! LOL! I don't like that chick Danielle...she creeps me out her face is so tight. I was in the middle of the episode last night and my Verizon fios freaked out and I got so MAD! So I didn't see the ending :(
We are looking at a house tonight-maybe I'll take some pictures if I can. We are house hunting-but yes everything seems to be out of our price range, but I really want that 8K tax credit this year and the interest rates are so good I hope we find something! Good luck to you!
