One TV Show

Tonight Luke and I were in the guest/computer/music room just hanging out enjoying our time together.

I would say its because we are newlyweds and we can't get enough of each other, but we all know its really because there is nothing on  TV during the summertime so are forced to spend time together.

We were just talking and laughing when my husband asked the most random question ever. If you could only watch one TV show for the rest of your life what would it be?

See, we even talk about TV when we aren't watching it.

I immediately laughed because it was such a random question and would never happen but he was insistent that I answer it.

My answer was Full House.

Yes I know its corny. Yes I know I have seen every episode to the point that I have most of them memorized. But I just love it.

I love how corny it is, I love how every problem is solved in 30 minutes.

I love that it is a constant, and no matter what I am doing in life, or where I am, I can turn on Full House and find everybody frozen in time.

Of course Luke thought this answer was hilarious and couldn't believe I would spend the rest of my life watching Full House.

My favorite episode is hands-down the Disney World episode. Two of my loves combined; Full House and Disney World.

So I ask you.....

If you had to choose only one show to watch for the rest of your life what would it be??

(so weird I know)

  1. Oh my goodness! That is one of the most difficult questions for me to answer. Sadly, I have WAY to many to count. I know...sad but true.

Ahhh, I seriously don't even know what to say. I think I might rather watch nothing than get to chose only one show. I'll think more on that, but that's my answer for now!! :)

  2. That's a really hard question!!
I have no idea, that is definitely something I would have to think about ;)

But Full House was a great show. I can see why you picked it!

  3. Such a hard question!!

I think I would watch Friends, since there are a million episodes and I'd never get bored of watching Jennifer Aniston's hair...

  4. I have to know, what was Luke's answer????????????????

  5. Oh my gosh! This is tough! I really love The Secret Life of an American Teenager, but I feel that I could proabably watch Sex and the City all the time. Only because I seem to watch it a lot anyways. Still, I like my variety with tv shows :-)
Oh and I also love, What I like about you. See, I cannot decide! Too hard of a question! :-)

  6. Full Hous is my answer too, LOVE it!!! I was just talking about it to Garth last night!

  7. I would have to go with Friends. I never get tired of watching episodes I've seen over and over!

  8. I think I would have to go with Friends. It played for 10 years, so there is a lot of variety in the style of the show, and maybe it wouldn't get old as fast. My second choice would be Law and Order. I could probably watch that show for the rest of my life and never see every single episode. It's been on TV for the past 200 years!

  10. I LOVE FULL HOUSE TOO!! I can quote it as well... which is saying a lot cause I am TERRIBLE when it comes to quoting things.

  11. Definitely Friends!! I love that show and watch it at least once almost every day!!

  12. That is hilarious, because I love Full House and the Disney World Episode as well is one of my favorites and where DJ kept seeing Steve everywhere, haha!!! LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!

  13. Friends most def. Because it's the best ever!

Followed by Sex and the City. Tough choices first thing in the morning!

  14. Saved by the Bell, no doubt about it! I just caught an episode of it yesterday, and even though the show was almost 20 years old and I'd seen it a bazillion times, I laughed and laughed.

  16. Well, I really hate to admit this...but I have seen The Family Stone so many times that I can probably quote the entire movie. Why you ask? Well, that movie was the only one I really wanted to watch during my maternity leave, and it was the only one that I had on my iPhone...I've been back to work for 3 months now and I pump 3 times a day. While I'm pumping I watch The Family Stone. I have it memorized so that I know exactly when I am done pumping, I get to a certain part, look down and...yup, I'm done!

I will add that JUST LAST NIGHT, I put Marley and Me on my iPhone so I finally have a new thing to watch while pumping.

But seriously, I love The Family Stone so much that I could watch it every day for the rest of my life and ever get bored of it. I love Christmas THAT much.

  17. what a toughie :-) I love that you picked Full House . . .

I would probably have to say friends or the office or 30 rock (something funny) . . . but i'm positive I would get sick of anything if it was the only thing i could watch ever :-)

  18. My nephews used to whine if my sister made them leave the house while a Full House episode was on. She tried to explain to them that it was a re-run and that it would be on again. They would say, "no, this is a new episode...we haven't seen it!" Little did they know, they were watching a show that was 20 years old! ha!

Mine would be The Duggers - 18 Kids & Counting. I'm fascinated with a couple raising that many kids.

  19. Mine would be Full House, too. I used to act out entire episodes, word-for-word, lol. I cried when they cancelled that show.

Little fact - I live 45 mins from Disney and they were filming the Disney episodes during my Spring Break. Well, my mom was going to take me so that I could try to be an extra. However, I got the stomach flu the ENTIRE week. I was devastated (and still kind of am) about it, lol.

  20. Oh man- Full House- what a good show! I don't know what I would pick. Maybe Hull House- I do adore those twins.

  21. I'd probably have to go with Buffy the Vampire Slayer - the Musical episode... singing/dancing/drama/fun!

  22. It's a toss-up between 3 shows:
    Sex and the City
    Saved by the Bell
    What Not to Wear

    ReplyDelete
  23. I love Full House. :) Either Friends or Will and Grace would be my choice! :) Fun post!

  24. O gosh!! I have NO clue! maybe a cooking show, or a decorating show. But I really don't know!! OR possibly something off of TV land.. HA HA!! Full House is so fun!! Love it!

  25. Gilmore Girls...no.questions.asked.

    ReplyDelete
  26. That's a tough one! I'm going to go with sex and the city since I watch the reruns over and over and over again!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Probably 'Everybody Loves Raymond'. When I was younger, I would watch it EVERY week with my parents. And all these years later, I watch the reruns ALL the time. I've probably seen almost every episode. It just makes me laugh, and it's actually relatable.

  28. Full House...boy, that is a classic from TGIF...remember that?!?!?!

    I would definitely pick Friends!

    ReplyDelete
  29. The Office or Leave it to Beaver. In the end, Leave it to Beaver would probably win out because I can experience dry humor in other ways in my every day modern life, but I can only experience bizarre 50s family life through LTB.

    ReplyDelete
  30. FRIENDS .... i just can't get enough of the reruns!

    ReplyDelete
  31. I totally remember that episode.... DJ thought she was seeing Steve everywhere and once she thought he was Aladdin which is funny because he voiced Aladdin in the Disney movie.... don't ask me why I know all of this....
But I would watch Friends for the rest of my life. It never gets old

  32. I loved (and still do love) FH! I used to think DJ was so cool!

I'd probably go with LOST. I love this show and every time I watch an episode, even if it's for the 10th time, I make a new connection. I love it!

  33. it is a toss up between that 70's show and dawsons creek!

    ReplyDelete
  34. I love this.. Full House is a feel good show.

My pick would be three's company!

    ReplyDelete
  35. 7th Heaven! I love it and watch the reruns all the time!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Too funny! I think for me it's a tie between 7th Heaven and Gilmore Girls! Love them!!

    ReplyDelete
  37. gosh! this IS hard for me!! umm sex and the city or the old 90210!
