Blame it on the candy....

Luke and I knew we weren't going to be home for Halloween so we knew better than to buy any candy.

Smart thinking, led us to the conclusion that we would just end up eating all of the candy.

So we went to Trunk or Treat on Friday and had a good time passing out candy to all of the cute little kiddos (please keep them 5 years old and under for my liking thank you)

The next day we were at the church and I discovered a treasure; an entire TUB full of leftover Halloween candy. I proceeded to 'help my self' to some candy.

Thank you church congergation for your generous candy donations, you can now buy me new jeans, as I have NO idea how they are going to button after I took my helping of candy.

I have been on a sugar high since about 8pm last night.

In other Tree updates:
-Luke wouldn't dress up as a Jonas Brother, please join me in a giant BOO to him

-I cut my hair

-Only 3 inches, not enough to be considered "chopping it off" but just enough to not make me want to throw up everytime I look in the mirror and see my hair.

-Thanks for all the sweet comments on my nephew, I just love showing him off, I think I am going to be a crazy woman when it comes to my own children!

Weekend Update:
We had a great Halloween/Daylight Savings Weekend (I don't want to neglect that special extra hour). Thursday one of our friends Kelsey was singing at a local Starbuck' so we went and watched her sing. I'm used to always going and watching Luke sing, so it was fun to go with Luke to watch someone sing.

I took Friday off from work so that Luke and I could spend it togther (he has Friday's off since he technically works on Sundays). We had fun just hanging out together! There is something extra special about weekday's together!
Here is Luke at Trunk or Treat with Elli (our pastor's daughter) She was Junior from Veggie Tales, so cute! We just love her to pieces!
